TIMOTHY T. ZANTSI (1975 – )

Zantsi¹s skill and imagination has been fed by various workshops since 1995. He is inspired by scenes from his everyday life but reinterprets these into abstract works of brilliant line and colour.

Sometimes he combines paint with found objects such as pieces of metal, cans and rubber tire. He explores these different forms of media in the African tradition of recycling for decorative purpose.

His work is represented in various corporate collections in South Africa.
